Instadog Gift Exchange
The dog days of summer are upon us! Freddy and I have both been a little mopey lately because we haven't really been able to get out of the house because of the heat (these silly Texas summers!), and while I was trying to think of something fun for us to do I thought I'd organize a little Instadog Gift Exchange! I organized one over the winter holidays and it was super fun (to see photos from that exchange search the #InstadogSecretSanta hashtag on Instagram). Before we get started I need to take care of a little housekeeping first!
The rules are as follows:
You must have a U.S. mailing address to participate. (Sorry! I suggest you organize one for your country, if you like!)
Instagram dog account preferred, although not mandatory, but you do need an Instagram account of some sort to participate.
Accounts with multiple dogs are fine, but you must sign up each dog separately or pick only one dog to participate. Meaning if you fill out the form twice for two dogs (once for each dog), you will also be purchasing and mailing two presents (as well as receiving!). Get it?
No one will see your personal information except me and the person who will be mailing your items.
I will use a random number generator to determine who gives to whom, so you likely will not be giving/receiving from the same person. This is a surprise so don't let others know who you got! Freddy and I will be participating so unfortunately we'll know who got us, but we'll pretend to be surprised. :)
The deadline to sign up is Friday July 22nd at midnight. You will receive an email from me sometime on Monday June 25th with the information as to who you will be sending to. How fast I get the emails out will depend on how many people sign up.
The deadline to ship your items is Monday August 8th. This gives you two weeks to shop for your pup!
If you sign up, you are committing to purchase and mail a gift before the deadline. If for some reason you cannot fulfill your commitment, please email me (bigworldlittledog@gmail.com) or DM me on Instagram (which is probably better than email).
Minimum purchase $10, maximum purchase $20, before shipping. In your package please include a note with your Instagram handle so you can be properly thanked! And post a photo using the #InstadogGiftExchange hashtag once you receive your gift.
