Austin Instadog Meetup
We had our first (of hopefully many!) Austin Instadog Meetup this weekend at the Doghouse Drinkery. I was nervous because I wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible, but everything went off without a hitch! We ended up with about 30 people and 25 dogs who came, which is awesome! Here are a few photos, some taken by @middytxfiddledog. Thanks, Middy (or Middy's mom, since Middy doesn't have thumbs and as far as I know cannot operate a camera)!!
We also took donations for an animal shelter and I went through everything today and dropped it off at Austin Animal Center. I was so surprised and overwhelmed by the amount of things that were donated and the intake person at ACC was super excited. We took in:

11 towels
23 blankets
29 bags/boxes of treats
45 collars
11 leashes
4 harnesses
2 water/food bowls
10 cans of food
2 bags of food
16 puppy pads
1 bed
3 carriers
Huge box of poop bags
$30 in monetary donations
THANK YOU ALL for coming to the meetup and for donating goods or money. I can't tell you how full my heart was yesterday when we got home. We have such a great Instagram dog community and I'm so grateful for each of you! I'll be scheduling another one soon, so stay tuned for details.
